To apply for the course, a Bachelor degree or equivalent with the main focus in chemical, energy or environmental engineering or similar subjects (like power plant engineering, biochemical engineering etc.) is required.

For the language
, we need a proof of your English proficiency. We would prefer the TOEFL test, since this test is common, easy to access world wide and a good basis to compare. Regardless the TOEFL we accept other tests as a proof of the English proficiency, if the lectures during your first study were taught in English, we accept this as equal. TOEFL score should be above 213/550.

For the German proficiency
, we recommend to have the level of the German DSH-test (slightly higher than "Mittelstufe II"). This test is equivalent to the TestDaF. In this test you have to assure that you are able to speak, hear, read and write fluently in German. If your abilities are advanced (around 400 h), it is possible to attend courses by your own in Germany, as there are various language schools. Otherwise our intensive language course is recommended.

Chances to get the admission are good, if you fullfill the requirements. Beside that we are looking always for the best students, and since only a limited number of places are available, it is a success to be selected. The PEESE Program starts every year in October, the application deadline is July 1st. Please apply as early as possible, since the visa procedure can take up to 3 month! Apply directly via UniAssist (http://uni-assist.de).
